At Scratch Books, we are dedicated to short stories, fragmented work,  experimental ideas. 

​​​In 2026, we will launch Magic & Mechanics, featuring stories and interviews from George Saunders, Claire-Louise Bennett, Mark Haddon, Colin Barrett, Camilla Grudova and Amber Medland. 

We publish innovative anthologies - including Duets and the Reverse Engineering series - as well as sensational collections such as The Unreliable Nature Writer by Claire Carroll, Failed Summer Vacation by Heuijung Hur  and Saints by Tim MacGabhann.
